ICMS Guidelines
The ICMS is the only professsional medical assocation in the world to develop a comprehensive set of comprehensive guidelines for the practice of· stem cell medicine. These guidelines are intended to provide a framework for the clinical transaltion of cell based therapies, a pathway for the advancement of cell based medicine and a structure to assure patient safety.
These guidelines have been developed in cooperation with physicians and researchers from around the world.
Each contributor to these guidelines has significant domain expertise in the field of stem cell science and medicine. The ICMS is working consistently to assure that these guidelines are up-to-date and reflect the latest research and scientific and medical knowledge.
The following documents are presented as a DRAFT for the 2012 Revision of the Best Practices Standards in Cell Based Medicine:

Section VI - Guidelines for Physician Qualifications
Section VII - Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Practice of Cell Based Medicine (adopted 2009)
Section VIII - Laboratory Guidelines for the Practice of Cell Based Medicine (adopted 2009)
Section IX - Re-Implantation Guidelines for the Practice of Cell Based Medicine (adopted 2010)
Section X - Guidelines for the Use of Platelet Rich Plasma (adopted 2011)
Members of the ICMS are invited to review and comment on these draft documents.
All comments, edits and recommendations on these proposed Guidelines should be sent to the ICMS.
